Are you a community member who would love to help empower the next generation of employees, employers, innovators, change-agents, and decision-makers? If so, we would love to work with you.
As a community partner, you will work directly with site faculty, students, and administrators to design challenges that are geared toward your profession and/or passion. Not only that, but you will work hand-in-hand with the students to support them in learning the material relevant to the challenge in which they have accepted.
By agreeing to be a community partner, you are also agreeing to the opportunity of internship or externship of a number of students at Idea Tree. The number of opportunities afforded to the students is completely negotiable, and we know that each profession and passion has its own set of guidelines, which we fully respect. You can collaborate virtually or face-to-face, depending on your availability. In order for real learning to occur, timing is everything and we want this process to be as organic and spontaneous as humanly possible.
Throughout this mentoring process, students at Idea Tree will be immersed in the world of your profession or passion and will be given an advantage afforded to very few; they will have a chance to see if this is something they wish to pursue once the challenge has been completed.
